December 1st, 2017: The Chamber of Notaries in Estonia started issuing e-Apostilles as part of the Apostille Program (e-APP) under the Hague Apostille Convention. Users will be able to apply for both e-Apostillles and paper Apostilles via the new website available at: < https://www.notar.ee/apostill >, in addition to checking the validity of Apostilles issued in the e-Register.
With this new step, Estonia becomes the 10th State inn which both components of the e-APP have been implemented. To date there are over 200 competent Authorities in 32 Contracting Parties operating one or both of components of the e-APP, demonstrating the support of this program.
